BS34 diaphrams

Could somebody help please...How do I get my diaphrams to fit snugly into the groove all around the top of the carb body before I put the carb tops on. They have been apart for a while and it's as if the diaphrams have shrunk back a tiny bit making it near on impossible for them to be held in position around the full circumference. I would appreciate any pointers. Roger javascript:emoticon(':??')

I use a smear of red rubber grease to keep them in place,works a treat
