Mirrors

Afternoon all, I'm in the process of recommissioning a lovely very original kz1000 a2 and it is as it left the factory apart from American cruise control!! However I've looked at a number of similar restorations and they all seem to have round black mirrors, unlike mine, I was trawling through some old adverts for the bike and did find one advert which looked to be displaying rectangular mirrors however the picture quality was poor, can anyone assist me as to whether they are original.
