ST and MK2 Engine / Cylinder Heads the same?

#1 PostAuthor: LTD Project » Mon Jan 11, 2016 4:08 pm

Are the ST crank and cylinder head exactly the same, i.e interchangeable with no problems ?

I have a MK2 engine that I am wanting to recover with parts from a donor ST engine.

Any thoughts or lessons learned that people should wish to share?

Thank you. Doesn't cost to ask before spending good money later...

Cheers.
