Handlebar Switchgear

#1 PostAuthor: hal » Tue Dec 29, 2015 4:06 pm

Just replacing the wiring loom on my Z1B and i notice the handlebar switchgear wiring is very brittle, i am thinking of new switches from Z power or E bay, i know these are reproductions but are they any good ? can i swop the new internals into my old switches ( just to keep the date codes)

Regards
hal

There different.. the reproductions use a smaller gauge wiring, and mild steel contacts, not copper. there cheaper for that reason.. Your better buying a used switches, and nicking the wiring, or I could have a look ( away at the mo ) in my stores..I think I might have a set of refurbished switch gear could sell you? Take yours in part ex.. pm me, so I can let you know when home..
