Z1000j fork stanchion nut

#1 PostAuthor: Robw » Sun Dec 13, 2015 3:34 pm

I am trying to get the nut off the stanchion, so that I can add oil to my new forks. I cannot get it undone. I have tried leaving it clamped in the yokes, but still no luck. Has anyone got access to a tool that will fit on it and not damage it.

PS that pingel you let me try is fine but I will need an adapter. Will catch up with you over Christmas.

Yep all day, fed up with it now. Good news that the tap fits. Take care and see you soon
