Fuel Stains

#1 PostAuthor: nicomkii » Sat Nov 28, 2015 1:50 pm

These were on the air cleaner body when I got hold of the MkII. Looks like fuel stains or the like, i haven't tried too much in the way of cleaning them off, a few sprays but really stuff all of an effort. It appears to have soaked into the plastic somewhat, anyone have a magic remedy ?

Have to admit I do get a 'little' excited riding the MkII and things do happen inside me but yep I'm 99.9% sure it's fuel. ( Wont mention about that 0.1% though )

A car paint rubbing compound should do the trick.

Very good point Mick.

Are you now implying that the rider has been on the said motor cycle without a helmet and riding one handed whilst licking an ice lolly?

you can lick a zoom with the helmet on, the stick jammed in between the visor and the helmet, only problem i found was melted zoom going down your chin and dripping onto the airbox
