Oil cooler hoses

#1 PostAuthor: scott » Thu Nov 19, 2015 1:40 pm

I have a quote from Earls to provide two hoses for my oil cooler that I'm fitting. They want £104 for each hose, total of £208 for the two.....not cheap. They are to be 1 meter long approx and to have AN10,90 degree, black fittings. It will also need the AN10 to 1/4 NPT adaptor for the crankcase connection. The hoses must be black nylon and all fittings must be black. Anyone know where I can get these hoses made a bit cheaper?

The Ginga Bear put me onto these guys -

Cost me around £80 for the cooler pipes for my Unitrak - black anodised fittings and black nylon covered tube, exactly the same as Earles!

+1 for Torques.
Been using their stuff for years now .
Quality on par with earls/goodridge but much cheaper.

Thanks for the heads up guys, I'll give them a try.
Pirtek get their gear from Earls, so there would be a mark up on that.

Rob,

Bottom end is Z900, as you can see APE breather with (I think 1/4 NPT) - AN-8 adaptor, from......... Alex at Torques. :D

Cheers, doesn't look like I can get a cover for a z1000r, so I will have to modify one I already have.
