Steady Jim.
What are people using to control end float on swingarm foward pivots?
On the J it had a steel cross tube (steel arm) and it just used to carve a circle in the inside of the frame.

New arm is alloy (ZR 750) but has no control over end float.
Consequently; the rubber covered steel backed grease seals, either end have now lost their rubber coating and play is around 2 - 3mm with a bit of a clunk!
Looked at the three piece thrust bearings but a minimum of 9mm needed each side so a bit of a faff getting it all machined away.

The inner bearing sleeve and spacer control swing arm play . Get the correct parts from Kawasaki and machine to fit . 2-3mm play would be like having a puncture . I am sure the parts are near the same as a zrx and lots of us have used these with no free play .

Thanks, new ones was plan B, i sort of anticipated making up 'top hat' spacers from some durable low friction material, perhaps PTFE!
