PINGEL Pet-Cock for Z!

Thinking of fitting a Pingel petcock to my Z1.
Intended to buy an Adapter nut (20mm-1/4 NPT) or (18mm -1/4Npt) ref Z1E site.
Two queries..
1. Which adapter?
2. Any drama's? i.e. Fouling on side covers or Carb problems due to its length etc.
Any advice appreciated.
Perhaps, Jeff from Z1E would recommend the nut and the particular model (two outlet) Pingle pet-valves for a Z1 original tank.

Believe its 22mm - check on z1enterprises website
no issues with a Z1, Z900 or a Z1R

ChrisU, thanks for your reply.
The Z!E site seems to have sizes incorrect of that adapter nut.
I measured the tank outlet thread dia as about 21.6mm. So it's probably a 22 mm OD thread. Also it is not clear which double outlet Pingel cock
matches up with the adapter.

ChrisU, another forum (Kawasaki Z1/Z2 classic.com) has come up with another idea of using the single outlet Pingel, into a single to double outlet filter,
For interest and info, here is Craz1 reply..
Hi Garnz I use the http://www.z1enterprises.com/ItemDetail ... =TU49-8853 and the http://www.pingelonline.com/pc_product_ ... 22148164F3. I do not have any problem with hitting the carbs but the lever is close. I have used the double outlet also but I find it hard to squeeze in filters. The single petcock to single inlet/ double outlet filter is very clean and tuck in neatly. I go right to the filter from the petcock then to the carbs. I use 1/4 black plastic line which will slip over the carb nipple and the 5/16 barbs that are used on the Pingle items. I can post some photo's tommorow. You can buy everything from APE at good prices. Z1E also has a good price on the petcock but does not carry the filter. It's is the 22mm nut and works just like the stock petcock nut.
