Thanks to Z1B man, for pointing me to the website for this modification. Looks great and make lot's of sense, can't wait to do it but HELPPPPPPPPPP
Needed. When looking at the instruction's we have four stages first three no problem. The last stage "power wires to coils" on the instructions he states the Y shape wire "power feed" has eye type connectors. Is this for Dyna Coil's

as my bike is running original coils with spade connectors
The last part of the instructions seems to be very confusing . And why do we have 2 wires going to each coil

are two of them kill switch wires.
Any help appreciated thanks.

yes the eyed connectors are for dyna coils. use spade connectors or whatever connectors are fitted to your coils you can use a y shape power feed or use two single wires to power the coils soldered is better

Thanks Paul, tried to text you week or so ago. Wondered if you where still on holls. Yes changed the stator hardly any difference. Put new battery on it, charging rate better, but even with the new battery only 9.5 V at the coils. So I think this Mod is the last chance Saloon. PS got a new Toy.

Paul not with you

dis-connect wires from the spade terminals on the coils, then check the wires. Is that what you are saying.

Yes Phil. disconnect the common live feeds from the kill switch to the coils and measure the voltage on them to the frame,if connected to the coils you will get some volt drop..Paul

Hi
Can you advise the relay and 'pigtail' you have used and where you got them from in UK?

Hi Paul, done the mod, and would you believe it

still runs like SHITe

so carbs where set up by me and you and also with the Gunsons. I've changed the stator, and done the Wired George mod, changed the Kill switch. New plugs Again fitted

Oh and brand new battery. Must say though not as Shite as it was, but still Shite. I could do with another set of eyes and ears to look at this. Think you need to ride it

I must be missing something

what is the spark like? remove the plug cap one at a time & hold the ht lead 8-10mm away from the cylinder head it should jump this easily if the spark is yellow/ orange the coil is faulty. a healthy coil will produce a bright crisp blue spark

Does spark OK, but not the fattest sparks I've ever seen.

I suppose the only way to tell is a new set of coils
