I have the Cams out all the head nuts + the 2 m6 bolts
But it appears to be stuck solid, I don't want to disturb the base gasket
So are there any pry points or has anyone any tips on shifting the head

always worth checking 1 more time everything is undone.

if it all is then careful use of a rubber mallet should break the seal

as above be very careful where you hit,the fins will break very easily, take your time and it will come loose

I had the same problem. In the end I gave it to a mate because I didn't wNt to force it any more. In the end the barrels came off with the head and we had to drift it off from the inside.

If you look under the exhaust ports you will notice pry points a round raised area on barrels and a flat under the exhaust port.

You're unlikely to get it off and be completely happy you haven't disturbed the base gasket.

Check all the head washers are removed too ...as one or two of these often remain captive & then bind up on the threads of the Head fixing studs & this will rigidly hold your Head in situ...you'll have to prize em out !
Also........ as far as not upsetting your Barrel/Base gasket joint....CAREFULLY locate the ends of a pair of Long tire levers... one on each opposing front & rear side of the Head ...these placed inbetween the & top of Barrel & the underside of the Head, there are Webbing/linking points that are there with good strong structual integrity.....look for them & identify them ..& using these points carefully you won't damage anything! Use the Tire levers in such a way that when you apply an equal downward force on Both of them ...at the same time ! they then in turn will Lift up on the underface of Head & at the same time they are then applying a downward force on the top of the Barrel & this action kill 2 birds with one stone by Lifting the Head & preserving the Base gasket joint. Break the joint one side of the motor a tiny ammount ( say about 15 thou ) .....then do the other side the same ....= Job's a goodun !
I've successfully done this on Zeds many times over the years & on many different motors too, just ensure you act carefully & find the strongest points & the longer the lever the better of course. Hope my explanation make's some sense & helps. Good luck . Johny Brando
