Dyna grey coils 2.2ohms
Just as a check after recent probs, measured resistance of coils primary bang on 2.2 ohms, heated both with hair dryer and both went up to 6.9 ohms.Anyone got any input on this?

You goin to get some increase in resistance Paul its a vicious spiral resistance = heat =resistance how hot did you get em ? did you heat them uniformly ? localised heating with create anomalies in coil resistance, you can drive your self insane
you will always get around a 20% variation in resistance with increase in temp, how hot are they getting in use under the tank? does any of the bollox make sense
