Camshafts

Just been measuring my lobes and the inlets are 36.80 and the exhausts are 36.25 high which is bigger than standard according to the data I got. Does this mean they are after market cams?
And if so how can I tell what cams they are?

These are the only Z1 cams I've messed with, so I don't know what standard ones look like.
Anyway markings:
Exhaust cam has 2L left of socket and R right of sprocket. These are raised, so must be from the forging process. The inlet cam is the same plus there is a letter A stamped on the left end. On the right hand end of the cams there's a small notch cut in that's probably for a drive dog for spinning between centres for grinding.
The guy I bought the bike off reckons it was Moriwaki tuned and it never ticked over, which I've been told is typical of big cams and it had a vicious power band.
Any ideas what cams they are?
And most of all does it matter for the cam timing if I dial them in?

I have a set of cams,there 37.30.something near the Bonneville cams that pops made.

They seem to be originals which have been reground.
i have a set from a 1980 Z1000 but have 6L instead of 2L

Just measured a couple of sets that I have in the garage
Standard sets measure around 36.3mm
I have also a set of kenny Harman cams
They measure 37.6mm

Wow! they're big.
Mine are 0.5mm over then. Not massive, but over never the less.
I read the bit on the Debben site about dialing the cams in with a degree disc to get the cam timing correct. Is it Ok to use the opening/closing angles spec'd in the Haynes comic for the Debben method ?

Use the Debbens method and aim for around 108/110 degs for both.
