I've had an offer of a good cond Harris system made for a Z900/z1000. Can anybody verify that this will go straight onto a z1000j2 with just a modification to the hanger. I seem to remember it will, just need the ok from some of you better informed guys.

Yes the headers will go straight on, you may have to turn the can round a tad and make a different bracket but that's all.

Thanks Rich, I have got a set of Harris headers for a J and also got another system which I think is for a z900. The headers I have are a bigger bore than the z9 set so I'd ideally like to use those if I can find a harris rear section to fit. But if that fails its on with the 900 system.
