Fuelling problems

Hi all
Went out for a ride today
I was trying to keep up with a zx1200
Bike pulled fine upto about 5000 rpm
On half throttle on full throttle it slowed
I'm thinking it might be the main jets
Apart from that she did ok

Check the fuel cap vent is working ok, especially if you had filled it up for the trip.

To be honest I don't think he new I was there
And when he did open he's up he disappeared very quickly
But I would of had him if the bike had been running better ,that what I keep saying to myself

Been working on the z900 most of the day
Trying to sort the carbs out
Checked / main jets / needles / float heights / fuel tap
All seemed to be ok
I had bought a Accent Electric ignition a couple of months ago
So I fitted it
It looks like the old points ignition was the problem
She pulls fine now
Still have some bits to do
The shims / and possible cam chain
