1105 Liner fitting

#1 PostAuthor: ZedHead » Thu Apr 23, 2015 3:39 pm

Does a 1015 cylinder block need to be bored out to fit an 1105 liner and piston kit? Outside diameter of the 1105 liner is 81.25 mm.

1105 is the largest you can go with a standard liner, although some prefer to stop at 1075 as the wall of the liner is fairly thin around the bottom.

Didn't have any problems with this though at 1105cc. :D

Now that is tasty :D

A customer of mine has a set of f*&^!£d barrels with Wiseco K1105 kit and liners fitted. The question is could he go back to standard? I suspect not if the block has been modified to take the 81.25 O.D liners.

Just want to be sure of what i am saying.

Sorry Dave, I think I misunderstood your question.

If the liners are oversize, just bore it out even bigger. :lon :lon

Dave, I've got a set of 1015 barrels to 1105 (bores no good) but with standard 75.5mm liners. Has minor fin damage on one end. £20 posted if they're any good to you?

Pic's coming.
