I've a problem with front forks on my Z900. They are off a GPz11 and basically pump up hard under use resulting in dreadful handlebar wobbling antics on normal (potted) roads. I have long suspected the issue is with incorrectly blanked anti-dive units. I have the forks off today and sure enough the blanking plates dont have any channel in them to allow for oil flow.
Questions: should i just use the dremel to create a channel between the 2 holes? If so what size/depth?
How best to seal? I guess there is a lot of pressure coming in to play so normal gasket paper isn't going to hold back the oil. If I create a channel that connects both holes where would I get an oval shaped o ring from that goes round both holes?
