I always thought the CB900F was a good looking bike back in the 80s.
Never had one, always Z9s, but they are loads cheaper than Kawasakis.....................
Any thoughts?

Not as tough as a Zed, but go okay - handle & brake better, but clutch and cam chains sometimes a bit feeble :!:

had a couple myself, one was a nail and i took it back to the seller and dumped it in his drive, the second was better but i blew the engine up and paid over Â£800 for repairs and then wrote it off at 70 while p;ss;d (berk) but great bikes to ride, i loved the style of them and they were very comfy.

i think a Kawasaki or Suzuki would be a safer bet personally.

More collectable and much nicer were the CB1100s.

if you vcan find a nice one of them it would be worth having.

I had one too, back in the early nineties.

Loved it, but those shell bearing cranks will never take the abuse a roller bearing crank will. Probably not many about with cranks that don't need work. :cry:

I still have one
its got 12,600 original KM from new in 1980

It needs new valves, and maybe pistons too, cos the valves seized in the guides, and my brother tried to start it, and it went snap, crackle and pop

looks to high at the bac end forcing the rake angle to be to steep which in turn will make it not handle well & shake its head at speed

the chap in the last picture has a nice pair of denim "boot cut" trousers, does anyone know where one can purchase a pair of trousers that arnt in this stupid modern style of cling on drain pipe, even m&s have caught on and i am stuffed, i look blumin stupid in skinny trousers.
