SRM wheelbuilding - any good? Suggestions?

#1 PostAuthor: Strebe » Sat Feb 28, 2015 4:40 pm

Having sourced a decent rear hub for my Z1 (thanks Keith), I am now in need of a wheelbuilder.
The build will be with a stainless rim and stainless spokes.
SRM seem to have pretty reasonable prices - has anyone here used them? Were you happy with the result?
Does anyone have an alternative suggestion, or recommendations of people to avoid?
And finally, butted or non-butted spokes?
I live in Tunbridge Wells, but am assuming that I will be shipping the hub to the wheelbuilder
Thanks.

Did my A4 rear wheel 3 years ago - very reasonable and still true today.

And just over the crossing for you...
