Hi all

I have a set of standard carbs 26mm Mikunis and have been trying to find a guide to rebuilding them. Can't find one so just tearing them apart

Anyhoo, I appear to be a bit missing. There is a plate which goes at the top and joins them all together, part number 16065-040 - part 42 in the diagram

Do I need this bit? can I make one? anyone got one? what's it for?

Do not think I have one fitted on my 26mm Carbs :??

From what I've seen they're only fitted to Z900's not Z1000's.

I sent an outline of an original to a member who was having them laser cut from stainless.

I'll just leave it off then

I did wonder why some of the screws were different lengths, to allow a bit extra to fix that plate on!

A4 carbs only fitment,just a brace works fine without em...
