One was fitted to my z1000A1 when i got it.

Chrome with fitting points to rear shocks and under ducktail

Replaces standard grabrail, is adjustable in length and has indicator fixing points.

Anyone able osay if this sounds like an original 70's one?

Cheers

original Zed rack was bolted to the grab rail by two u bolt's
it required the indicator's to be remounted
the original grab rail was retained
I still have an original rack

Thanks - Paul

Have removed and replaced with a standard grab rail

Doubt if i'll use it again

Anyone member interested that will genuinly use it before i think about trying it on ebay?

I know i shouldn't say it but i've no idea of it's value, if anything? - i'll take a mint z900 in p/x though if anyone wants to do a deal! :D

Lovely z1000. :more
Iv'e got a genuine kawasaki back pad/rest that bolts to the carrier or grab rail (not sure which). Its a sort of triangle shape in black with kawasaki's letter "K" embosed into it 20 times. Cant remember seeing another one for years.
