Removing swinging arm bush and sleeve

#1 PostAuthor: sprint » Thu Feb 12, 2015 7:46 pm

Having problems removing the swinging arm bush and sleeve's.

Drifting the bush from one end the bush starts to move out the other end and then stops. Further drifting and the sleeve starts to move out and then both stop.

Don't want to damage anything by too much force am I missing something or are they usually a bugger to get out.

Both are OK but need to get them out to clean the tube before powder coating, which I assume you need to do?

you must remove the sleeve first then drift out each bush from the opposite side from which it is fitted

Thanks for the reply.

At the moment I am not able to remove the sleeve's. If you push on the sleeve from one end,the sleeve at the other end starts to push out then stops. There is a central distance tube fitted is it possible that the edge is catching on the end of the bush?
