Is there any way to know if the steel ball bearing
Is still in the case of the clutch push rod end

You'll also need to remove the clutch cover (r/hand) then the pressure plate and push the rod from the sprocket side to get bearing out -
to see if it's there

HERE IT IS!!!
If you want to let the "Good times roll",
You'd better hope you're not on the dole.
Some of the parts will have you stumped,
The prices of others will leave you humped.
4 into 4's that fall to bits,
Quickly become a pain in the tits.
Paying 300 pounds for a an old key fob,
Will make you feel like a proper Knob.
Should I buy new or should I buy repo,
It doesn't matter, cos they'll not be cheapo.
Some of the parts you'll definitely miss,
Most of the sellers are ripping the piss.
Each day, you go to work, to do some grafting,
To buy the parts that will give you a shafting.
You'll soon be face down on the floor,
When you price a paintset or a four into four.
Will I buy on Ebay, or a special supplier,
The cost of the latter is considerably higher.
There will be parts, you're certainly needing,
All of them, will leave your bum bleeding.
Restoring a Zed is a mammoth task,
At least Dick Turpin wore a mask.
Loads of money for a ZIR fairing,
Thirty dollars for a clutch ball bearing.
I said to a seller who was selling a key,
Why don't you kiss me, when you fuck me?
Your wife thinks you're off your head,
These are the joys of owning a Zed.
