Can someone point me in the right direction as to where to purchase a 10A relay c/w diode to carry out the wired George mod please.
Regards
Steve

Where you been

Relay to supply 12v direct to ignition - so no losses thru kill switch, etc

Yes wondered that as well....

Have you got any photos of the mod and where you mounted the relay please :?:

Some of the other forum links appear to point to a five pin relay :?:

The diode protects the ignition from a voltage surge/change - or summink like that when turned on/off :|

Diodes are like 1-way valves I do believe :!:

I believe the diode is to protect electronic kit (eg dyna s) from voltage induced by the normal operation of the relay.

There's some info on the Hella website explaining in more detail.

Where's the diode in the circuit without the wired George mod ?

There's a normal surge anyway in the circuits anyway when switching on and off the ignition....very visible on Zeddy's z650 last week when using inline spark testers....so why have one on a relay added into the wiring?
