Hi - I wonder if anyone can help me ?

I have a 1976 Z900 that was built by a previous owner mostly from NOS parts. It looked great but has had many problems. I've sorted all but this one.

The outer 2 rubbers between the carbs and airbox don't fit properly. It's as if the outer 2 carbs should be a little nearer the centreline of the bike. The rubbers will only just extend to fit around the carb inlets - but remain at an angle and the clips don't sit on them correctly. I have some photos - but can't work out how to attach them. The carbs fit perfectly well to the head.

If anyone knows whether there are alternative rubbers I'd be grateful. In addition - if there are some instructions on how to attach a photo I'd be grateful.

If you look on z-fever.de under z900 there are photos of new rubbers...are yours like them?

If you get the chance please take the time to introduce yourself on the new here section...there are sticky threads on posting photos with photobucket....we are nosey buggers!

Hi Rudger ,seem to recall the rubbers fro the carbs to head and carbs to air box air marked L and R right and left guess you may not have two pairs but four all the same ? Paul J

sounds like it - outside ones definitely have a kink in the middle.......
