bikini windshield repair

does anyone know what the transparent windshield is made from? I have one with the usual spider cracks around some of the holes and I'm looking for the best adhesive to fix it up. Are they perspex or polycarbonate or something else?

If you drill a small hole at the end of crack, it will stop it growing any longer..

They are usually acrylic (Perspex/Polymethylmethacrylate)
You can get some clear PMMA or toughened acrylic adhesives, but remember that they will soften the plastic of your screen so need to re-cure after application of the adhesive. Don't put any pressure on the screen when it's re-curing as it can make it shatter like a car windscreen.
