72/73 Fuel tank emblems - please measure for me....

Could one of you lucky few with the early/small tank badges please measure the distance between the 2 mounting screw centres and let me know.
The later/bigger badges are approx 140mm centres, but I gather the earlier/smaller badges had a different mount with screws set closer together.
Fascinating stuff for a Friday evening...

The small type Tank badges to fit the 72 /73 model are also the same Tank badges that are the standard fitment on the mid 70's Z400 twin

Maine, you may have forgotten to take into account the curvature of the tank. This may bring you to the 122 mm stated.

However, my first task is to locate a tank which will take the smaller badges...
Maybe there's a nice Santa out there who has one available???.....
