Hi Guys,
I'm getting my spokes replaced and while I'm at it I fancy replacing the fairly worn tyres. I'm after a pair of tyres that look in keeping with my 73 Z1.
But with reasonable grip and hanging onto any good handling qualities that the bike has.
Any suggestions and recommendations for suppliers gratefully received.
I'm in Cheshire,near Chester
Many thanks Paul

I've got Avon Roadriders on my 900 and BT45's on my Z1R , both excellent tyres .
To be honest any half decent tyre brand will be fine as they will not be the handling limitation

TT100's (K81) are still available and pretty good

BT45's are v. god but look too modern (IMHO) :??

Na, don't put TT100's on a Zed, the profile can make them weavey at high speed. I always use those nice Contis they put on Beemers, good tread pattern too.
