Hi guy's, on inspecting the carbs I have prior to a strip and rebuild i noticed there is a hairline crack in the rack they are mounted on, anyone know if this is made from alloy that will weld or am I looking for a new rack?

I repaired one some years back.
drilled a small hole (3mm?)at the end of the crack,'key' the plate, filled the hole and crack with chemical metal. Left to harden, filed/ smoothed,painted.no future problem :wink:
