Oil cooler

Hi
I have a small oil cooler on my z900 a4
i was thing of taking it off as I'm doing a rebuild but just thought I would ask,
As this is my first z900 do they run that hot as to need one

Unless you are ragging it around a track - Or in California - No need for a oil cooler.
They came out of the factory without them.
I took mine off a few years ago.

I have taken the oil cooler off
What do you need to do to the two oil feeds from the engine
Can you just buy blanking bolts

no....

there is the original part which links the two outlets and houses the oil pressure switch. you can't just blank them off.

i'd assume john browse or someone similar has one................

or maybe someone on the site has a spare.

If you are referring to the part you need to replace the oil cooler take offs then it is the OIL PRESSURE SWITCH HOUSING you need .
The bypass valve is a different item and is located inside the engine .
Either way both these parts from other z9/1000 kickstart equipped engines are common throughout the range.
