Taking a break from working on the Z1 and trying to get my '84 GPz900 going (also after many years in storage). No pressure at the clutch lever so presumed master cylinder gunked up - have installed repair kit (old piston and cups didn't look too bad) but still can't get any presure from the master cylinder to bleed at the slave end. Any tips appreciated.

Is the line clear, sometimes they swell inside and cause a blockage? Crofty

Most of the feed line is metal pipe but will strip it back to the slave unit and check the hoses at each end - might as well check if the slave cylinder piston is stuck as that is what has happened to the disc calipers.
