Headlight

Suddenly my headlight is not working.
Bulb is fine.
I don't get 12 v at the two wires, both low and high beam.
Position light (the small one) is fine.
Any suggestions?
What should I check?

Handle bar switch contact connections and wiring continuity between headlight and switch.

Depending upon year, is there a fuse involved ?
