4 into 4 exhaust won't fit

Help.
Yup, I can rebuild the engine but cant seem to be able to fit a set of 4x4 exhausts on the Z1A. I cant get them to hang on the rear frame hanger without fouling the real wheel nut. Its not even close. It looks like I need a bolt about and inch longer than the std one and would need to fit a spacer between the silencer and the hanger. Any ideas????????

Thanks

The RH side pipes are on and line up very well with enough room for the nut. however, the nut is to the nearside ATM. I've got it all lined up nicely now but still need a spacer on the RH side to be concentric to the frame and match the left.

Pics on way

To get both sides equal and concentric to the bike, means that the RH side hanger bolts up nicely, but this leaves a gap on the LH side hanger as in the pic. Am I missing something...

hanger mountings are bent common thing to happen when the bike hit the tarmac

Loosen off the exhaust clamps, make sure the down pipes are sitting correctly directly on the underside of the engine it is possible to get them caught here and throw the backend out. Once done you should be able to fit the rear bolt & nut then finally tighten the clamps. I'm sure its something simple like that. I put each side pair on as a unit works every time.

I should have known that when you start to get pissed off, you should leave it for another day. Anyway, all sorted now.

On a good note, I went to Ponty on Saturday to collect the paintwork from Hutchy. What a fantastic job he's done. Took his time, but a brilliant job. Three cheers for Hutchy.
