front facing calipers

just thought I would check with you guys,,im looking for a right caliper,now ive been told a left caliper will do ,all you need to do is turn the bracket round....is this correct...im talking about the kz900 a4 forward facing ones with the centre nipple

I think you need the bracket itself as it has shoulders on for the dust seals. But my experience is limited to z1000's.
Where I have swapped right to left calipers but used the original bracket.
Have a look at the parts fiche online you can the check part nos.

Careful I think the calipers are symmetrical but the carriers are handed with machined cut outs but I may be talking bollox .....its not unheard of :hys

When i said on Saturday that i might have some spare Keith , i have 2 and a half pairs , none centre nipple though :(

CHEERS FOR THAT,TO BE RIGHT IVE GOT TO GET CENTRE NIPPLE.DK IN STOKE SAID LEFT ONES OK JUST TURN THE CARRIER ROUND.GOING TO TAKE THE LEFT ONE IVE GOT TO BITS TO TRY IT BEFORE I BUY ONE..by 10pm on sat I was out cold in my tent.

On A4 the calipers can be used either side its the carrier that is handed as Keith said..
