Hi all, finally got hold of a Gpz750 bored out to 810cc complete with carbs.
I really need some help on what to do(fitting in no problem) but I been reading about sprocket, clocks and ignition.and has got me a bit confused as some say one thing and others say another thing,
My B1 has a Newtronic ignition otherwise completely stock.
Will really appreciate some input.
many thanks all

iirc use the std z650 front sprocket.... output splines are the same.

as steve sayes you'll need an electronic tacho with a single feed wire from one of the coils.

the rest of the wiring is a little more fun although its easier to use a gpz750 loom it is'nt too difficult to modify your b1 loom. i find the best way is to draw out just the circuits your dealing with i.e. ignition from each wiring diagram then you can work out which wires need to go where so you can splice the gpz ignitor into the b1 loom.

you'll also want to look at the charging circuit and use a gpz regulator/rectifier

Remember to "time" the Newtronic out of the sunlight - the optics can get confused in bright light :!:

Hi mate
So I can use the newtronic on the GPZ engine and not have to get a loom and igniter,I already got a 6 wire regulator/rectifier fitted with the Newtronic system
don't really want to be buying parts if I wont be needing them.
Cheers all

Thanks all
I managed a deal for the loom, fuse box igniter, regulator and both switch gear from a guy on Fleabay so all I need is a clutch cable?
Thanks again all
