Z1000 frame

Did the early z1000 1978 have the same frames as the z900
ie not with the solid exhaust hanger

Don't think so.
I've cut off the solid hangers and replaced with z1
type hanger.

I think the a2 had similar to the Z900

The B1 and B2 LTD model ('77 and '78 respectively) have tubular rear hangers that resemble the Z1 thru Z900 A4,
but whether the Z1 thru A4 exhausts would be same position for bolting to is another matter.

If no-one else posts photos and measurements before me, I'll post
piccies and measurements later on today.

as stated in this add from z power the exhaust will fit all 900 models fro 72-76. they will fit the z1000 but a bracket or modification to the existing hanger will be required
