Hi ya,

Try BP Ultimate 97 octane, Shell V-Power 98 octane. Both of these have extra cleaning agents in them.

Most super unleaded is between 97-99 octane.

I am told that Tesco's super unleaded is 99 octane but have not checked this out for myself yet.

Hope that helps.

I use Shell V-Power - don't 'arf notice a difference, much better revs and has special detergents
that surely can only be more beneficial to valves and efficiency.

A bit more expensive, but that's because you're bike is worth it :)

they were designed to run on unleaded. something like 98% of jap bikes were designed like that.

All kawasaki motorcycles since the early 1970's are designed to use un-leaded petrol. The septics were onto it a lot lot earlier than the UK

I tend to use super unleaded plus an anti ethanol additive, a lot of modern unleaded now has a high ethanol content has been the topic of debate on here and other forums the damage this muck causes to older machines !!!

Total claim that ethanol is not added to their Super Unleaded as well as their standard Unleaded,
and also have a list of their pump locations to download...
