I am just putting new sprockets and chain on the ut ,i got them from Debbens, Talon rear sprocket, DID chain, and steel front sprocket ,BUT !the front sprocket is dished a bit more so i can not tighten down to it ?
What i need to know what is the standard set up on a uni-trak 1100 A2 because i think there should be a sleeve on the drive shaft before the sprocket goes on ?
Debben is on the case and said he will send me a spacer ,but i have done over 2,000 miles on the , already half worn chain and sprockets ,but surely if i add a spacer it will put my sprockets out of line ? it is about 4 mm difference ?
I have ordered 3 x tab washers from cradley heath just in case debben takes days to send me the spacer !! and i will use them to pack out so it will tighten down ? any idea`s of why i have no spacer / collar before the sprocket goes on ? has anyone else come across this before ?

You've got me confused there....
Are you swapping the 2K miles chain for a 530 new set?
Have a look here...

Hi don't know if this helps - I recently replaced the standard front sprocket on my A2 as it was getting a little worn. The replacement was thicker where it fitted over the splines than the one I removed, the dish and offset were the same and I had to remove a 4mm spacer to get the spline washer to fit correctly.
This spacer was in addition to the main oil seal spacer pressed on to the mainshaft, it is not shown on the exploded view on CMNSL website. The chain still runs smoothly when you spin the back wheel and removal of 4mm doesn't seem to have affected the chain alignment

Yes that sounds like my issue ,but my is the reverse ! so i need a 4 mm spacer because my replacement sprocket is a thinner one ? So debben (main man i think) said on the phone he has not come across this before ,and has sold loads of them ?pluto wrote:Hi don't know if this helps - I recently replaced the standard front sprocket on my A2 as it was getting a little worn.
