guys, do you count cylinders from L/H or R/H when seated on bike, im having probs fitting my thou exhaust system, the no2 pipe counting from left doesn't want to line up, if its flush in the head its not fully seated at the other end and vice versa, yet the other one went in no bother, so don't think ive got them mixed up, even if they aren't interchangeable, any advice appreciated

NO 1 ON THE LEFT AS YOU ARE SITTING ON THE BIKE THROUGH TO NO 4 ON YOUR RIGHT

thanks for numbering info, that's what I thought; eventually managed to nip it all up using a ratchet strap, but pipes now so filthy with greasy pawmarks, will need to clean them before firing up, and had enough of it; will post a pic when all back together and running

FUNNY ENOUGH JIMMOCK, I REMEMBER PROBS MANY YEARS AGO FITTING AN S AND S EXHAUST TO A THOU, SAME THING; JUST ASSUMED STANDARD PIPES WOULD BE A BREEZE, LESSON LEARNED

if there genuine, they are numbered 1-4 on top at collector end, if headers are rechromed - good chance numbers are gone.
some after markets are also numbered, in Oz anyway.
