Torque settings

#1 PostAuthor: Paul Mc » Fri May 09, 2014 9:58 pm

Hi all,
Well my Z1 is back together. I've got an oil 'weepage' from the cam cover. But I can't find the torque setting for the cam cover bolts in the Clymer manual. I'd like to tighten them down a bit more, but don't want to over stress or strip anything.
Does anybody know the torque settings?
Many thanks for any help
Cheers Paul Mc

Paul be alert... I have seen hair-line cracks around the corner bolts.
Very hard to spot.
As Wilsons' said those half moons can be a problem, the tops need to be flat, otherwise they tend to push out or in, when tightened.
