Am refurbing the engine and have found a crack from the exhaust valve to the valve guide which I understand is difficult to repair ? I am looking for a replacement and have posted an ad in the wanted section. Has anyone had this problem and do you know of any specialist engineers who could offer advise on poss repair?

Brigger, I'm guessing, but no one knows where you are from :?: 'united kingdom' is rather large. My local engine repair place is 'mansfield engine centre' , thats Nottinghamshire.
They are sociable and helpful. :D been trading for 30years? Is that any good to you?
Cheers freddy

My head had exactly the same crack.

Get an engine expert to look at it and you may find that it's nothing to worry about.
