I just dug out the brake piston"s front and rear, for my KZ1000 single disc, and have decided to replace them all, as they have some pitting etc,
I was wondering if stainless is way to go, and where best to get them?
or stick with originals maybe from z power........I seen some cheaper on e-bay, but not sure if any good. one here.....

This guy seems to have some good feedback on selling the zed caliper pistons.

Really all depends on who is doing the machining & how close their tolerances are.
At that price, I would imagine that they are mass produced on CNC machine.
Which to me points to china manufacture. But I may be wrong.

I've used this bloke for the GPz900R, RGV250 and the RG400 brake rebuilds.
The seals are spot on and calipers good quality, the Suzuki seals are square and unbelievably difficult to match, the kit includes everything you need including seal grease, go to this bloke before anyone else!

I've had plenty from Nick Chambers, all good. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. :up

STAINLESS IS THE WAY TO GO.

However, it needs to be a SUPER SMOOTH finish.
If not the seals will leak.

Thus why the originals are CHROME finish.
