Incorrect battery Ah
Bought an ebay battery listed for a ltd, filled it, charged it and fitted it only to establish it's smaller in size and 14Ah instead of the factory correct 18Ah. It won't start, can I assume it's because the battery Ah isn't high enough? If so I'll have a Yuasa YB14 LA2 for sale shortly for collection only (I will put it in the For Sale section with a price). Cheers.

Hi Bear, sorted now but yeah it just kept turning over without firing. Wondered if it was the Ah I mentioned but could have been something else. I went back out to try it after checking it with a multi-meter and it fired up. Still takes a lot of nursing to warm up and tick over steadily though. I took it for a few miles and it runs ok, lights nice and bright, etc. Got a bead of oil near the cam chain tensioner, it was the first time out with a few fistfuls of throttle.
