I'm trying to dynamically set the dyna s ignition on a z1100r. My strobe gun has an advance degree setting so I can set it as required. Question is....how much advance is recommended.....I've been told 38 degrees ? Do I just set my gun to 38 degree advance then adjust the dyna s until the 'F' Mark lines up on cylinder 1 ?

yes but the 1100r is 40 degree's & not 38? unless it has been heavily modified
