Z1 engine fitting

I'm shortly going to fit my Z1 engine back into the frame. I haven't fitted anything else onto the frame yet. It would be just the bottom end I intend to fit the top end when it's in the frame to keep the weight down.
Does anyone have any tips to make this process any easier as I'll probably end up doing this solo. My wife would rather have a route canal than go in the garage! Although I could possibly rope a neighbour in.
Many thanks for any help.

The usual dodge for one man fitting is to lay the engine on it's right hand side (clutch side), lower the frame over it, drop in a couple of bolts to keep it located then stand the whole lot upright.

I always lay the frame over the engine it makes the job easy and no scratches.[img]

I fully protect the frame first so not to scratch it then do as the others do, did the last one on my own, bit of a maul but managed it. If you are just fitting the bottom end then you could manage on your own with the frame upright and lower rails protected.
