I have just got the standard paint work back on my unitrak (tank warning light console) , how do i go about fitting the battery warning wire ? could a buy the part that goes into the battery ? and also where on the loom is the wire located,and what colour is the wire ? I do not want to strip back to much of the tidy loom to find it ?
Any help would be appreciated ,Andy ......

The wire is pink & exits the loom very close to the battery. If you connect it to +12v it will stop the warning light flashing.
It was also possible to buy the sensor that replaces one of the battery caps when I did mine, but that was probably around 4 years ago now.

Hi Gus, I am well, thank you.
This is what I got from Kawasaki.com;

Googling the part No. seems to support the fact that it's correct.

I have the genuine item for that price. I had a box of spares that contained a pattern sensor & it just didn't fit properly.
