Anyone know where I can get a headlamp lens unit UK type i.e. dipped beam kicks up to left.
Have tried Z power and Z1 Enterprises and they only do US/Euro type ( I suspect any other Euro suppliers would be same.

Urgently needed.

John,

Are you looking for a 'Stanley' item, or something that will do the job, where originality isn't important?

This conversion is 100% better than the original sealed beam...

Pretty much ANY 7 inch headlight will fit

Last halogen ones I bought were about £25 a pair

Ginger Bear - Ideally I would like a Stanley unit, however in the short term I need anything to get the bike road legal, I have a lead on a possible quick fix that I will try whilst waiting for a Stanley unit. Many 7'' units are too deep to fit in headlamp bowl, but I will try the Mini ones as I've been told they fit.

Cheers

John,

have a look here;

http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.eu/V ... dlamps.php

I have one of the £32/pair lamps fitted to my toast rack project, using a z1000 shell.

I still have the original Stanley, but the silvering is not the best. Might get you going in the short term & would probably pass an mot.
