z1000 a1 fuel tap fouling

hi i have a z1000 a1 and have updated the engine to a gpz1100 with cv carbs, but the original fuel tape is fouling the carbs bodies and filters when fuel tank is fitted , need to change tap for smaller tap for cv not slide, or any mods anyone can recommended, thanks gary

Why don't you remove the carb in question and fit a smaller one??

well i brought these carbs a long time ago and purchased a dynoject kit , i have been building this bike on and of for more years than i can remember, but i did not realise that there would be a problem with the fuel tap until i fitted the tank , i might still use the original fuel injection , this would sort my little problem out but there is not a lot of room to fit all the other bits in a z1000 frame and then there's the sorting of the fuel injection and putting a return valve in the tank?
