I'm looking for a new battery for my Z1. The local bike shop round my way has various listings and none of them seem to be the right one.
I want to fit a Yuasa but the one they had listed as a replacement looked like it powered up a tractor. Anybody know the current reference number for a replacement battery?
I think the Z1 battery is slightly taller than the Z900 one.
Anybody know suitable sources?
Cheers in advance.

As a matter of 'useful info', the battery for my GSXR1100K 1989 is identical to the Z1A type of battery! The terminals are the same way , same size... etc!!!

RickmanCRR, you are correct the Z900 is smaller than the Z1, Z1A & Z1B battery. YUASA Corporation still make them for the Z1 as I have just purchased one. The code number on the box is PBP-12N14-3A-EM1, common code is 12N14-3A they are now made in Indonesia and the "Turbo" version in Taiwan.
You can always pack-up (about 5/8 ")a Z900 battery to fit a Z1, however, the reverse is not true.
RegardZ.
