Hi All Merry Christmas,
Bike had a bit of a meltdown last week.Cooked alot of the wiring.I have got the new/replacement loom from Z1Enterprises.I have looked around for the outage indicator switch, but hard to source. It lives under the left hand coil, a 3 pin connection. Are they surplus to requirements?Part number is 28019-001.
The insulation broke down on a dyna coil, which bbq'd alot of the loom!Shit happens. We were 900 ks into a 1200k ride. With the help of fellow Z club members we hot wired her and got her to Augusta, then trailered home the next day.
Replaced ignition, wiring loom,reg/rectifier,right handlebar switch, even fried the headlight.
Any info on that outage indicator be appreciated.
Cheers and happy new year

All the outage indicator relay does is to flash when your brake lamp fails and to switch on the mimic on the idiot light, more complex than you may think when you look at building one,if you are not fussed with the flash function just use a relay to switch idiot light or do what most do and leave disconnected.
